Turnitin
Many of you ask what is Turnitin and how to submit an assignment to Turnitin. The Library has prepared a suite of resources to guide you.
The resources include:
1. An introduction video about what is Turnitin. Turnitin is an online software that helps to check the originality of assignments and the correctness of citation practices. Once an assignment is submitted through Turnitin, it will be checked against Turnitin's extensive database so that your lecturer knows the assignment is the result of your own work and that you have properly acknowledged the sources of information used.

2. Submitting an assignment to Turnitin via Moodle – a step-by-step guide on how to upload an assignment via Moodle

3. The Originality Report – It is a comparison document that highlights any text that matches publications and student submissions within the Turnitin database. If your lecturer asks for an Originality Report, a demo is available on how to generate one.
